Marmoush, as well as fellow new signing Abdukodir Khusanov, was thrown straight into City's starting line-up during their 3-1 win over Chelsea at the Etihad Stadium and he looked sharp on the left-hand side of a front three that also included Haaland and Phil Foden. Nonetheless, the signs were positive and former Newcastle forward Shearer was full of praise for the 25-year-old's performance and is excited to see the partnership of Haaland and Marmoush blossom.
