Married At First Sight UK star Mel Schilling has shared an update on her health after being diagnosed with colon cancer in December, saying she is 'doing well'
Mel Schilling has shared a health update with fans after being diagnosed with colon cancer in December. The Married At First Sight UK star opened up about her chemotherapy sessions in a new interview.
When asked by Jamie and Amanda how she's doing, Mel said: "I'm doing well." She went on to explain more about her cancer treatment to the pair. Mel said: "I've learned there is a lot of different types of chemo... so the type of chemo that I have, doesn't really make me sick. It's not going to make me lose my hair. I have other side effects like tingly fingers, that's a funny one and very sensitive to cold. So I have to wear gloves a lot. And just a little bit tired."
Despite currently undergoing treatment, Mel is still filming Married At First Sight UK. She teased the upcoming series during her interview on Heart Breakfast, saying it is "fabulous" and currently being filmed.
