He's been a firm fixture on the popular morning show recently, but Money Saving Expert Martin Lewis has confirmed he'll be taking a break from ITV's Good Morning Britain. Some viewers were reduced to tears following the emotional scenes in which he confirmed the impending change to the show's line-up.
Many viewers took to social media to express their emotion upon hearing the news, with some saying they had been reduced to tears. One fan wrote: "I think you’re a National Treasure Martin - have a lovely Christmas break."As well as his hosting duties, he's also also taking part in 'Money Mondays' as he answered viewers questions and offered his important advice amid the cost of living crisis.
Ladbaby's Mark and Roxanne said they knew they needed to enlist “an icon” to launch this year’s campaign, so chose Mr Lewis, who they called “the people’s champion”.
