Martin Lewis' Money Saving Expert website has reminded shoppers at a major supermarket to spend their rewards balance, before they expire.
Martin Lewis ’ Money Saving Expert has a handy reminder for customers Are you one of the 5 million Co-op members in the UK? If so, you’ll want to take note of Martin Lewis ’ Money Saving Expert’s latest warning. The Co-op previously announced that their loyalty scheme was getting a major shake-up, and shoppers would no longer be able to earn cash rewards on Co-op branded items and services.
If you’ve got the Co-op app, your balance is shown in the Wallet section. You can also log into your Co-op account online or simply check your receipt, as your balance is shown on there too. You can spend the rewards by scanning your membership card at the till – there’s also an option to do this at online checkout. But if you’re feeling generous this Christmas season, you can always choose to donate your balance to Co-op’s chosen community projects, rather than spend it.
