The presenter keeps her personal life private but back in 2017, she revealed that she still employed a nanny to help take care of her children. "I know it must sound absurd but we have a nanny," the 59-year-old told theat the time. "Clare has been with us for 19 years. Obviously we don't need a nanny any more, but she's part of our family."
Four years, Fiona confirmed that Clare had since moved on, leaving the family while Mia was completing her GCSEs. The presenter added that Clare remains "a firm family friend.", Fiona pondered whether or not she'd spent enough time with her children. "I think scratch the surface of any working woman and she will always think, 'Probably not.' I don't think there's such a thing as quality time with your children. I think it's quantity," the star said.
"But there's never been any question that they take precedence over everything in my life, and always have done." It's not the first time that Fiona has opened up about juggling her career and family life. In a 2015 interview with the. "There was always a point at which I thought, 'If I leave now, I can make bath time', and I'd get really irritable and try to rattle through stuff," she said.
