Merseyrail have announced the cancellation of some services tomorrow as the region is expected to be battered by Storm Darragh. The region is bracing itself for high winds and heavy rain from the incoming storm. A yellow weather warning is in place for our region from 3pm today until 6am on Sunday. The yellow weather warning covers the whole of Merseyside, including Liverpool, Wirral , Sefton , Knowsley and St Helens .
Transport is likely to be affected by the weather and Merseyrail has already announced that some services won't be running because of ongoing weather-related issues. The operator said: 'Due to flooding on the network in the Ledsham area, there will be no trains running between Chester and Hooton on Saturday December 7, a rail replacement bus will be in operation. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
