Bowring Park in Huyton is set to be transformed into a 'magical festive wonderland' this winter as the much-anticipated ‘Christmas Town’ markets open on Friday November 29. Knowsley Council said the event will bring the 'Christmas spirit to life' with a range of seasonal delights and activities for all ages. 'Christmas Town' promises to bring a more 'intimate, community-focused experience' compared to the bustling city centre markets.
From wreath and ornament making to 'craft’ernoon tea', there will be plenty of opportunities to get creative and festive. There will also be entertainment on offer as the park will hosts a series of Christmas movies and live musical performances. One of the standout features of 'Christmas Town' is its sustainable Christmas tree farm where visitors can pick out their perfect Christmas tree while also planting a free sapling to help support the environment.
