The Met Office has lifted the yellow weather warning for Glasgow
The Met Office has cancelled the yellow weather warning that was originally in place for Glasgow across a two day period.
However, in an update to the forecast, sleet is set to fall in the afternoon, but only for a short period of time with the Met Office stating that the "warning area has been curtailed in its northern extent to remove the Central Belt."Original reports said that Glasgow would have seen the warning occur at 7am today and finish at 2pm tomorrow. However, this is no longer the case.
Despite the warning being lifted, things will still feel wintry, with freezing conditions throughout Thursday and Friday as temperatures battle to stay above 0C.
