Mostly dry conditions are forecast for our region after Good Friday
A mix of sunshine and showers is forecast for Greater Manchester over the Easter Bank Holiday weekend.
Temperatures will reach a high of around 11C this afternoon. After today and over the rest of the Easter weekend, weather conditions look forecast to be mostly dry in our region.Sunny spells are forecast for Saturday with a mix of cloudy weather. The mercury will reach highs of around 13C in the afternoon.
On the weather picture for the UK over the weekend, forecasters predict more 'settled' conditions after a spell of wet and windy weather. Met Office deputy chief meteorologist Dan Harris, said: "The weather is expected to gradually improve following the widely unsettled spell of the past few days, with a fairly typical mix of spring-like weather across the UK.
