Forecasters have warned of flooding and longer journey times
The Met Office has warned homes and businesses could be flooded in Nottinghamshire with heavy rain due to hit the county. Forecasters have issued a yellow 'be aware' warning for heavy rain and strong winds.
Forecasters have also warned of spray and flooding on roads as well as bus and train services being affected. The Met Office also said there would be longer journey times.The warning has been updated to include more parts of the UK. The Met Office said: "Warning area extended further north and east across England, and also highlights the chance of strong and gusty winds in places. End time also brought forward by a few hours.
