The Met Office has said some parts of Yorkshire could see some snow
As temperatures are set to drop towards the end of this week the region could see its first snowfall, says the Met Office.
With the colder temperatures comes the odd shower - and for some parts of the region even some snow flakes could be expected. Advanced weather maps have also indicated the first snow of the winter in the UK will arrive in a matter of days - expected on Sunday, October 15. Speaking to YorkshireLive the Met Office has given its verdict on when the first snowfall could hit Yorkshire. The meteorologist said: "It will turn colder as we move into the weekend, though it looks dry with sunny spells.
