Yellow weather warning issued for parts of the UK, with strong and gusty winds of up to 55mph expected
The weather warning, which runs until 6pm on Monday, covers parts of the Midlands, including Birmingham, as well as London, Kent and Bath.could lead to a short-term loss of power, as well as delays to road, rail and bus travel, the Met Office has warned.There are also a number of yellow warnings for snow in place across parts of the Midlands, Wales, the north east and north west, which will stay in place until Tuesday.Heavy wind will hit parts of England today.
"This flow is likely to extend southwards with much of the UK likely to be under the influence of colder conditions overnight into Tuesday."Today 1000 – 1800
