Beautiful sunshine is on the cards
Glorious sunshine could bathe Greater Manchester later this week with temperatures expected to soar. September has got off to a mixed start for weather, with heavy showers on Sunday followed by mild, cloudy days to kick off the week.
The city could see highs of 22C on Saturday and 21C on Sunday. Both days are currently expected to be dry, with more cloud cover on Sunday, according to the Met Office.Thursday - overcast, max 19C, min 16CSunday - cloudy with some sunshine, max 21C, min 14C A yellow warning for heavy rain has been issued by the weather service covering all of south-east England and as far west as Taunton in Somerset, and Cardiff from 9pm on Wednesday to 9am on Thursday.
