Most of the county will be affected as temperatures plummet
The Met Office has published maps of exactly where we can expect it to fall in Lancashire this week as winter draws in and temperatures plummet.
From 8.30pm, residents in Preston, South Ribble and West Lancs will see snow and this will continue to push westwards towards Lytham and Blackpool by 10pm. By midnight, most of Lancashire is forecast to be hit by snow with Fleetwood the last to see it by around 1am. Temperatures dropping to lows of -1C, however it will feel like -5C.
Tom Morgan, Met Office meteorologist, said: "We could see some disruptive snow in the Pennine regions, in particular, the Peak District as well, especially Monday night, but we could well see some impacts lasting on until Tuesday morning’s rush hour.
