There's plenty of sunshine on the way
The Met Office has issued a warm weather update, with parts of England set to reach 30C this week. Weather experts said: 'Most of England and parts of Wales will experience warm temperatures' but added that the 'warmth is unlikely to last more than a few days'. It's all to do with the jet stream, as meteorologist Annie Shuttleworth said: 'For the last few weeks, we've been on the northern side of the jet stream and over the next few days, its position will change.
While today, Monday, is set to be overcast this morning, there'll then be sunny intervals this afternoon, with highs of 20C and lows of 15C. Tuesday, July 23, is set to be sunny, with highs of 20C and lows of 14C, and maximum temperatures of 23C are predicted for Wednesday, July 24. Thursday will then feel slightly cooler with highs of 21C and overcast conditions in the morning, before the sunshine returns. We can then expect maximum temperatures of 19-21C through to Monday, July 29.
