Weather experts are warning over flooding as a huge wall of rain moves in
Met Office experts are warning people to "prepare" as a band of heavy rain is set to move in over Liverpool. Heavy showers could cause flooding, as some areas could experience as much as 40mm of rain in a couple of hours.
"Give yourself the best chance of avoiding delays by checking road conditions if driving, or bus and train timetables, amending your travel plans if necessary. People cope better with power cuts when they have prepared for them in advance. A Met Office rain map appears to show the wall of rain moving into skies over Liverpool from 4pm. It is then expected to rain heavily for the remainder of the day and through into Tuesday.
