BREAKING: Documents relating to a decades-old unsolved murder of Daniel Morgan, a private investigator killed with an axe in a car park, have been discovered. The Met say they found the paperwork ‘in a locked cabinet that had not been used’ since 1987.
Service said today that it has found paperwork 'in a locked cabinet that had not been used' for a number of years.
Police said the paperwork, which it did not provide details about, should have been given to the Daniel Morgan Independent Panel before its report. 'Our assessment is that there are no evidential documents that relate to criminal investigations into the murder,' the Met said.
