Michael Dunlop became the most successful rider in Isle of Man TT history earlier this year

A special homecoming parade has been planned for road racing legend Michael Dunlop following his record-breaking exploits at the Isle of Man TT.

Joey's old record had stood at 26 wins, but Michael stretched his own tally to 29 with a four-time at this year's event.READ MORE: Ronan Hale deserved big move after 'working his nuts off' says proud brother The official Michael Dunlop MD Racing Facebook page revealed that a special homecoming will be held on Saturday, October 26."Michaels homecoming has been confirmed for the 26th of October at approximately 5pm at Ballymoney Town Hall. Michael will have his bikes on display and he will be riding on a closed street with his TT winning bike in his hometown followed by a firework display.

"So this is an occasion not to be missed so bring your family, friends or your motorbikes. Everyone is welcome and we would love to make this a great event to mark a wonderful achievement on 26th of October."
