The health expert has claimed that using your imagination to relax can benefit not only your mental health but also reduce symptoms of fatigue.

Michael Mosley has said that those who use their imaginations are more likely to see their anxiety and stress ease off as well as alleviate any fatigue.

During the latest episode of Deep Calm with Michael Mosley, the expert shared how the technique of guided imagery has been shown to benefit people both mentally and physically. Michael said: "Guided imagery like this works, because your imagination can trigger a cascade of responses in your brain. When you imagine yourself somewhere relaxing, safe, you can activate your body's relaxation response.
