Michelle Keegan is believed to be just weeks away from giving birth, and TV execs are reportedly keen to sign her for an access-all-areas project. The former Coronation Street star, 37, announced recently that she and husband Mark Wright , also 37, are to become parents in 2025.
While she’s gearing up to welcome their first child, Michelle is showing no signs of slowing down, as she’s back on set for Brassic to finish her scenes before going on maternity leave. But it sounds like she could have even more cameras in her life soon, with rumours swirling that she and Mark are being eyed for their own fly-on-the-wall TV series. A source said: ‘Michelle and Mark are such a TV power couple, and becoming parents is huge for them. ‘A couple of production companies are writing up propositions to see if they’d let in cameras to follow them becoming parents.’ The star couple are currently expecting their first child, with TV bosses reportedly keen to follow their parenthood journey. Mark rose to fame in the 2010s as part of Towie’s original cast. Michelle Keegan appeared in Coronation Street from 2008 to 2014. The mole added to The Sun: ‘These fly-on-the-wall shows are huge on ITV, as well as streamers like Prime, and there is a huge audience that would love an insight into Michelle and Mark’s world. However, before you get too excited, the rumoured series is still in its infancy at the moment. While a potential reality show has reached ‘planning stages’, no formal approaches have been made. However, ‘offers are close to being finalised.’ ‘Michelle is pedal to the metal on Brassic at the moment. She is finishing up her scenes before she goes off for a break,’ the source said. ‘Her co-stars will stay working until about May but Michelle is having to get finished in about three weeks.’ Neither Michelle nor Mark is a stranger to an audience, as Mark rose to fame on The Only Way is Essex in 2010. Mark appeared in the first three series as one of the iconic original cast members, alongside ex-girlfriend Lauren Goodger. His other media appearances since included an I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! stint, finishing as runner-up on Strictly Come Dancing, and now presenting on Heart Radio. As for Michelle, she bowed out from Corrie in 2014 when her character, Tina McIntyre, was brutally killed in a whodunnit storyline after six years. She’s since focused on serious drama roles in projects like Our Girl, Ten Pound Poms, and the Netflix hit Fool Me Once, the latter of which became one of the streamer’s most-watched shows ever. Michelle and Mark married in 2015 and sent the internet into a frenzy upon sharing their sweet baby news.
