The next big Western drama from Yellowstone creator Taylor Sheridan promises to feature some serious Hollywood star power. Michelle Pfeiffer and Kurt Russell are in talks to join cast.

Production on the spinoff is set to begin later this month in Montana, New York, and Texas. It is expected to premiere in 2025 after Season 5B of Yellowstone, which kicks off November 10 without Costner, concludes. Last fall, Paramount Network greenlit a Yellowstone sequel, originally titled 2024, set to star Matthew McConaughey.
