Supergirl's DCU design has a lot of potential.
Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow star Milly Alcock suits up as Kara Zor-El, carrying the same logo as David Corenswet's Superman in DC Universe fan art. James Gunn's DC Universe is on its way, with the new Superman movie kicking off principal photography last month, setting up for Corenswet bringing the next live-action version of the DC icon to life on the big screen.
The version of the infamous S-shield that is being used for Gunn's Superman movie is pulling from Mark Waid and Alex Ross' beloved DC storyline, Kingdom Come. Whether or not Alcock's Supergirl will have the same logo or not is unclear at this point. Even though Gunn has stated previously, "I never even said she was in the movie," regarding Supergirl's prospective Superman screentime, the DC Studios co-CEO hasn't outright rejected the concept, which makes a potential cameo still seemingly possible. With Superman being the only DC Universe project in production right now, it would make sense for Alcock's Supergirl to show up there in a supporting role.
