Several missing persons remain unidentified in Glasgow, leaving families heartbroken during the Christmas season. Police continue their search efforts, hoping to reunite families with their loved ones.

Several heartbroken families in and around Glasgow have woken up without the warmth of their loved ones by their side this Christmas. Over the year, we've shared hundreds of missing person appeals and, while some have thankfully been found safe and well, and others tragically found dead, there are a number of people who remain missing, leaving their loved ones devastated as they search for answers.

Needless to say, Christmas just won't be the same for those poor families whose nearest and dearest have not been seen or heard from for weeks, months or years. Police teams have been working to reunite families affected but, in some cases, the search will continue into 2025. Here are the faces of those who vanished, and are still missing today: Vincent Barr Vincent Barr, known as Vinny or Bardo, from the Govan area has been missing since September, 2020. Enquiries carried out have confirmed the last sighting of Vincent, 54, was around 9.10pm on Friday, September 18, 2020, walking across the Tradeston footbridge, known locally as the 'squiggly' bridge, and then heading into the wider Tradeston area. His family previously said: 'We just want our Vincent back and would appeal to anyone who may have any knowledge of his whereabouts. He was wearing a grey Nike hoodie, black jogging bottoms and grey training shoes. He is around 5ft 6ins tall with a medium build. He has short light-brown hair and blue eyes and also walks with a slight limp that is quite distinctive. 'My uncle was known to move about from time to time in places such as Glasgow city centre, Saracen, Possil and the west end areas. Therefore, I am asking if you live or go to these areas often that you keep an eye out for someone that may fit this description. 'Vincent, if you can see this message, please get in contact as we want know that you are safe.' Anyone with information is asked to contact Police on 10
