The Mobile County Sheriff and Prichard Police are fed up after three shootings happened in Prichard early Wednesday morning.
The first shooting started around 4 am on Clara Avenue where officers responded to a man who said he was sleeping in his car when bullets rang out. Prichard Police say debris struck his leg. "She didn't have anything to do with anything that was going on in the city, anything going on with these gangs that are out here shooting up people and robbing and killing folks,” said Prichard Police Lt. Robert Martin.
Lt. Martin says he does not believe any of the victims were the intended target. Sheriff Burch says it is clear this is gang activity at the hands of young people.
