HOUSTON — A Houston mom laid her son to rest Saturday after he wasnear I-45 on Monday, April 15 around 9:52 p.m.
On Saturday, funeral services were held for Vega at the Guardian Angel Funeral Home in north Houston. Vega was alone in a Toyota sedan when he stopped at the stop sign, Houston police said. They believe the shots came from a tan or beige Chevy pickup. "I know that I got to be patient because it is frustrating, as a mom I want to know I want to know what transpired that night, I want to know because this is out of character for Ricardo," she said.
