An expert has shared a Christmas shopping hack which will help you save money and time as she revealed certain tricks designed to stick to your budget might actually be harsher on your bank account
However, budget advisor Jordan Payne has come forward to debunk some myths that could prove costly over the festive period.
She advises that the sooner you start your Christmas preparations, the better off you'll be. While some may have already begun in September, Payne asserts there's no time like the present to begin. Her top tip involves just some cardboard boxes or an empty space in your closet, which should be cleared out before holiday festivities commence. This isn't without good reason, she explains: "You are gonna use these to start now, filling them up ahead of Christmas, making the most of any sales and discounts you find."
They imparted the wise strategy of beginning your shopping early by stating: "Start now, and you'll be able to see how the price fluctuates. That way you can easily see the exact day the price is cheapest."
