Moose Coffee has launched a new pancake mix, allowing customers to recreate its famous breakfast stacks at home. The popular brunch spot, originally from Crosby, now has locations on Dale Street and Hope Street, as well as inside Plaza 1821, in addition to branches in Manchester and Leeds. Moose Coffee is renowned for its consistently long queues, particularly at its Dale Street location which has operated for an impressive 15 years.
Now, fans can bypass the wait and enjoy fluffy buttermilk pancakes made with the brand's signature mix. Announcing the launch on Instagram, Moose Coffee wrote: 'For 18 years, we’ve been serving up our authentic North American buttermilk pancakes across the North West. After plenty of tweaking—and lots of tasting from our wonderful customers—we’re thrilled that you can now make our signature pancakes at home.' To celebrate the release, Moose Coffee is giving away five bags of pancake mix to lucky customers who like the Instagram post, follow the account, and tag a friend in the comments. The pancake mix is available for pre-order online and will officially launch and be available in stores from Saturday, February 15th. Previously, speaking to the ECHO, Moose's marketing and social media manager Neve MacNamara attributed the brand's longevity to its unique offering in the early 2000s when the brunch scene in Liverpool was less developed. Moose Coffee brought American breakfast culture to the UK, filling a gap between greasy spoons and upscale restaurants. Neve emphasized the importance of consistent quality, excellent customer service, and using locally sourced ingredients, including eggs from Wirral, meat from Crosby, and cheeses from the Lake District. While the pancake stacks are undeniably popular, classics like the Lone Star Moose breakfast and the Mighty Moose breakfasts have been on the menu since the restaurant's inception 15 years ago, contributing to the enduring appeal that keeps customers lining up every day
