The tricycles, wheelchair platform bike and hand cycle from Wigtownshire and Stewartry Partnership all went down a hit
Wigtownshire and Stewartry Partnership brought some of the amazing machines that form part of the Wigtownshire Stuff Bike Project to Lochside Park for a taster day.Support co-ordinator from Castle Douglas ARC, Rhea Currie, said: “I just wanted to say a big thank you from myself as well as the other staff for the bike session.“We have had the members asking about future sessions, so I feel it has all been very positive overall.
“It is great to know that development worker Olivia Donald and her staff organise a host of events across the region, including at Agnew Park in Stranraer as well as at Castle Douglas. WASP is hoping to expand the bike project to Castle Douglas in 2025 and would like to thank Kris McDowall for the use of his van to transport the bikes. Thanks also go to Charlie, Fin, Gaynor, Joe, Liz and Olivia.
