The comparison included staple items like bread, milk, butter, beans, tea bags, coffee, mince and chicken breasts.
Aldi and Lidl, while known for their low prices, were slightly more expensive for some items like mince and chicken breasts. Morrisons recently expanded its Aldi and Lidl Price Match scheme to include over 500 products, contributing to its competitive pricing.
