The Manila Police District (MPD) conducted a simultaneous bicycle patrol around the city churches from April 5 to 7 to ensure the safety and security of the people during Holy Week. | ManilaBulletin
Maj. Gen. Edgar Alan Okubo led the "Bisiklita Iglesia" along with the operatives of MPD and the National Capital Region Police Office .
Some of the parishes they visited were the Manila Cathedral, San Agustin, Quiapo, and Sta. Cruz Churches. “The MPD is always prepared and vigilant in maintaining the peace and order in our community in order to pre-empt crime perpetrators during this Lenten Season and summer vacation,” said MPD director Brig. Gen Andre Dizon.
