Given the fact that Gary was on hit TV show Mrs Brown's Boys for 20 years, we had to ask the 45 year old actor what is thoughts were on the recent controversy surrounding the series.
Scottish actor Gary Hollywood once played hairdresser Dino Doyle in the award-winning sitcom Mrs Brown’s Boys, but these days he's firmly focusing on fatherhood. Introducing his newest arrival into the world with wife of five years, Cherylanne, Gary has welcomed Carter John Hollywood, who was born on 11 October at 8pm, weighing 7lb 4oz. 'He made all our dreams come true,' the TV star smiled during out exclusive photoshoot.
Speaking to the Mirror, Brendan shared his remorse: 'At a read-through of the Mrs Brown's Boys Christmas specials, there was a clumsy attempt at a joke, in the character of Agnes, where a racial term was implied.' Speaking on the incident, Gary remained very neutral and said: 'Let’s just say I’m staying in my own lane when it comes to that one. I’m too busy enjoying life with Ollie, Carter and Cherylanne.
