“The stuff is amazing, it’s got me hooked.”

The yellowing is generally caused by body oils and sweat that build up over time. Even more unpleasant is the fact that dust mites, skin cells and allergens can all contribute as well, reports Wales Online.

The user said: “Well ladies you all know how yellow our hubby's pillows get I have in the past sprayed with Pink Stuff and left in the bath for a while, then added it to the wash. This was great at first, then it didn’t really work so well at removing tough stains anymore. Alongside the post, the social media user shared photos of the pillow after using Napisan and they were a bright shade of white. The post received more than 100 comments from group members sharing their thoughts on this product.Posting a picture of the product, another group member said: “A scoop of this in your washing machine drawer with your usual detergent is the fastest way to whiten your pillows.

After washing, the pillow needs to be dried properly before it can be used again, as even the slightest dampness can cause mould and mildew to grow. To help speed up the drying process, place it in a well-ventilated area, preferably outside in the sun as sunlight can help bleach any remaining stains naturally.
