Tiffanie Lucas, 32, was arrested and charged on Wednesday after a worried neighbour found her sons, aged nine and six, seriously injured next to a gun in the family home.
The scowling mugshot of a mum accused of murdering her two young children has been revealed by police. Tiffanie Lucas is facing two charges after allegedly killing the youngsters in cold blood in their bedroom on Wednesday.
But they both passed away despite the best efforts of medics, the Mirror reports. The Sheriff’s office said: “We are currently very early in the investigation and at this time a person of interest has been detained from the shooting scene. Horrified neighbour Steve Steier told WLKY: "It's sad, I mean what's this world come to for a mother to shoot her two children like that." While another neighbour, Amanda Mangis, said: "It's devastating, I mean as a mother I can't imagine thinking that's the only way."
