She moved into a social housing property last year and claims she was assured it was ‘warm in the winter and cool in the summer’ after informing the landlord about her medical condition. ‘It’s so hot, it’s like you are stepping off a plane in a foreign country. The heat takes your breath away. It’s just ridiculous. ‘Pictures shared by Sadie on Facebook show last week her home was 30 degrees on a rainy day when the temperature outside was just 14 degrees.
Sadie has lost her job and her driving license due to the amount of heat triggered seizures she is having Sadie is on the waiting list for a Devon Home Choice council property, but feels the local authority aren’t treating the matter with urgency.The natural heat of her flat is made worse by the fact the windows barely open.
