Her loving family are asking Liverpool and Everton fans to clap in Kim Cooper's memory on the 34th minute
Kim Cooper, 34, from Netherton, was diagnosed with migraines after going to the doctors, but after returning she was told she had a stage four glioblastoma. Glioblastoma is a fast-growing and aggressive brain tumour.
Kim, who was a youth advisor in Netherton Park Neighbourhood Centre, bravely fought while being cared for at home by family and friends until June 2023, when she died. Her family have described Kim as a "massive red" and said she had a season ticket for Liverpool FC. Her family are now asking Liverpool and Everton fans to clap on the 34th minute of the Merseyside Derby on Saturday, October 12.
A spokesperson from the centre said: "Kim Cooper started working at Netherton Park Community Centre in 2009 as a youth project worker. At 19 years of age, she showed huge potential and enthusiasm to work with children and young people.
