A mum left with a spinal injury after being mowed down in a road rage row has slammed her attacker’s “disgusting” sentence. Jacqueline Prentice, 37, feared she would never walk again after Alix McIntyre, 25, ploughed her car into her following an argument in Glasgow’s Pollok in November 2020.
She drove her Volkswagen Golf straight at Jacqueline, “pinning her against a wall”. McIntyre then reversed at speed, hitting a car, before driving off as neighbours rushed to help Jacqueline. “I woke up in hospital after surgery and couldn’t move. I thought I wasn’t going to walk again. They said there was a slight chance but because of my injuries they doubted it.
She said: “Every day I’m having to phone police. I’m not on any social networks but people phone me up and tell me what has been posted.
