Amid the constant fear and uncertainty, their mothers, Roseann and Emma, formed an unbreakable bond in the same bedbay. During their time in PICU, they received a lifeline from an unexpected source - vouchers for Just Eat and Smyths Toys, donated by families who had previously endured similar situations.

"It’s a world you could never imagine until you go through it. You lose track of time in your life. You’re consumed by fear for your child. But knowing someone else understood made it just a little easier. It’s a world that I never imagined that I would live in.
