Tragic pensioner Bhim Kohli, 80, was walking his beloved dog Rocky when he was attacked just 50 yards from his home in Leicester on Sunday.
A grandad allegedly murdered by a gang of children in a park had been previously terrorised by feral youths, a friend has revealed.
Graham said: "Bhim had some bother a few months back with some kids who had climbed onto the flat garage roof opposite. He challenged them and they dished out some abuse and spat at him. "He had three plots at the allotments and worked on them all year-round. I last saw him on Saturday. He seemed fine and didn't mention that he'd had any recent bother."
"He was lying under the tree and at first he was complaining about his neck and now he's not able to move his legs. He's always been very active - he has three allotments. We've lived here for 40 years and just recently there's been a lot of anti-social behaviour, which has been reported to the police."
"He was a skinny, fit man who was always at the allotment across the road from his house. He has two boys and a daughter, all grown up, and two grandsons. On Sunday this gang went about four times, there was three boys and two girls. They were the only kids about that day. They were English, I heard them laughing. They ripped up all the tiki lights from the neighbour's garden and smashed them up in the jitty."
