Sergio Mendes, the legendary Brazilian musician who worked with The Black Eyed Peas, has died at the age of 83, with his death being confirmed in a report from TMZ
Black Eyed Peas , has sadly passed away at the age of 83. The Latin artist, renowned worldwide and known for creating soundtracks for the James Bond franchise, died in Los Angeles, according to TMZ. Sergio was recognised with an Oscar nomination for his song 'Real In Rio', a collaboration with John Legend for the 2012 animated film Rio. Over his impressive 70-year career, he bagged three Grammy awards.
On this trip, Sergio had the chance to visit the renowned Birdland and experience the music of John Coltrane, Miles Davis, and Cannonball Adderley live for the first time.
