A PETROLHEAD has revealed how he saved his neighbour's iconic but neglected Porsche after spotting it seven years ago.Peter wrote: "About 7 years ago while driving around my street I spotted an opened garage at a house just 8 houses away from mine."I kept my eye on the house and it looked empty. I found out that the owners moved and it was unoccupied for a few years.

Sharing some photos of the sports car Peter added: "⁣It was just left like this, neglected and forgotten, it’s not cared for and loved." Since then, he has painstakingly restored and repaired the car, including a full engine rebuild and an overhaul of the suspension.In one of his latest updates, he said that he just has a few more things to do before he can get it up and running again.candid
