A US Air Force C-37B plane, often used for sensitive missions, made a brief stop in Moscow, fueling speculation about its purpose. The aircraft's unusual flight path and association with high-level transportation have led to theories about a possible prisoner exchange.

A US Air Force C-37B plane, known for its involvement in sensitive missions, made a brief appearance in Moscow , sparking speculation about its purpose. Flightradar24 data shows the aircraft departing from Rotterdam, Netherlands, and flying over the Baltic Sea before landing at Vnukovo International Airport in Moscow around 7:40 pm local time yesterday. After an hour on the ground, the C-37B took off and flew northwest before turning south toward Warsaw, Poland.

The flight's unusual route has led to theories about a possible hostage release. The aircraft originated from a US Department of Defense site in Camp Springs, Maryland, and while passenger identities remain unconfirmed, the C-37B is frequently used for transporting high-ranking officials and carrying out confidential operations. Social media users have suggested this could be another prisoner exchange, drawing parallels to last summer's high-profile swap where Wall Street Journal reporter Evan Gershkovich, ex-US marine Paul Whelan, and radio journalist Alsu Kurmasheva were released. This exchange involved 24 individuals freed from Russian jails, facilitated by allies like Germany, Poland, Slovenia, Norway, and Turkey. The freed prisoners, including Vladimir Kara-Murza, were transported to Joint Base Andrews in Maryland. Despite the recent exchange, several prisoners from countries deemed hostile by the Kremlin remain detained in Russia, including Ksenia Khavana, Stephen James Hubbard, US Army sergeant Gordon Black, and musician Travis Leake
