A man has been charged with aggravated assault and other crimes after an early morning domestic dispute led to a six-hour standoff with police.
John G. Fox, 56, of the Marlton section of Evesham, was taken into custody after surrendering on Monday morning. He was charged with aggravated assault, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and criminal mischief, the Evesham Police Department said in a news release. Police responded to a 911 call reporting domestic violence at a home on Brookfield Avenue in Marlton at 2:24 a.m. on Monday, officials said.
