Nathan Lowe scored his 19th goal of the season for Stoke City in a 1-1 draw against West Bromwich Albion. This result marks West Brom's 14th Championship draw of the season while Stoke remain unbeaten in five games under new manager Mark Robins.
Nathan Lowe 's 19th goal of the season, his first for Stoke City after an 18-game loan spell at Walsall, put the Potters ahead in the ninth minute. West Brom wich Albion, under caretaker manager Chris Brunt for the last time, fought back to earn a 1-1 draw in the Midlands derby. Grady Diangana leveled for the Baggies in the 71st minute, finishing off Mikey Johnston's cross. This draw marked West Brom 's 14th Championship draw of the season.
Stoke City are now unbeaten in five games across all competitions, with three of those victories coming under new manager Mark Robins. \The match saw a bright start from West Brom, especially with winger Tom Fellows coming close to scoring in the early minutes. Sadly for Albion, Junior Tchamadeu's attempted shot landed directly at Lowe's feet, allowing him to score with an instinctive right-footed strike past Alex Palmer. \Albion nearly equalized before halftime with Jayson Molumby missing an open chance from eight yards out. They continued to create chances after the break but it wasn't until Johnston's cross set up Diangana for a close-range finish that they finally found the net. Diangana's goal was his first at The Hawthorns since scoring the winner against Coventry City in March. \Following his appointment on Friday, new West Brom manager Tony Mowbray will oversee his first official game in charge against his former club Middlesbrough on Tuesday. Stoke City, still undefeated under Robins, will face Portsmouth on Wednesday, a team currently in 22nd place, just two points behind the Potters
