Policemen in Negros Occidental seized a total of P107,580,781.88 worth of illegal drugs from January 1 to Dec. 15, 2022.

Based on the record of the Negros Occidental police, 15,670 grams of shabu and 8,569.92 grams of marijuana were confiscated during the said period.Lt. Judesses Catalogo, spokesperson of Negros Occidental police, said the huge drug recovery was owing to the ease on the people’s movement after two years of pandemic.“It could be another problem for us if we did not recover these prior to its distribution in communities, as this can lead to criminalities,” said Catalogo.
