“The opening of this new store increases the total retail space of our social enterprises to almost 100,000 square feet, so you’re sure to find what you’re looking for when you shop with Emmaus in Lancashire. “Whether that is fabulous fashion, shoes and accessories, to new bedroom suites, white goods and preloved furniture, on sale at our other stores, all proceeds help Emmaus Preston run a household, provide support and create better life chances for people who have been homeless.”
People supported by Emmaus develop skills by working at the charity’s five stores, which include shops in Deepdale Mill Street and Brookfield Street.Funny Boyz co-founders Linda Gold and Dys Alexia said: “We at FunnyBoyz believe that we all have a responsibility to give back. No one becomes successful without lots of hard work, support and a little luck.
“The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others, and that is why we love what Emmaus does.”
