A new Latin American restaurant, Casa Verde, is set to open in Scituate , Massachusetts . The restaurant will occupy the former Dunkin' space on Front Street in Scituate Harbor and serve lunch, dinner, and brunch. Casa Verde's menu will feature dishes inspired by Mexico, Peru, Argentina, and the Caribbean, alongside cocktails and Spanish wines. Live Latin jazz music is also planned for the space.
The owner, Kara Tondorf, is a local restaurateur with experience running Salt Society in Scituate Harbor, The Rivershed in Killington, Vermont, and other previously closed locations like The Rivershed in Scituate and Weymouth Landing, as well as Riva Restaurant in Scituate Harbor
