🔔 Lincolnshire faces disruption! NHS and train worker strikes in full swing. 🚑🚄
NHS staff and railway workers will again be heading out on strike this week, causing disruption to health and transport services in Lincolnshire as disputes over pay, job security and working conditions intensify.
Union leaders in both industries want a pay rise matching inflation, something which the government says it cannot commit to. Junior doctors who are members of the British Medical Association will continue strike action this week. The latest round began on Thursday, July 13 and runs until Tuesday, July 18.
This action will be followed by NHS consultant strikes between Thursday, July 20 and Saturday, July 22, as well as on August 24 and 25, according to the BMA.
