A car fire involving a black Tesla in Kilmarnock over the weekend has been confirmed as non-criminal by Police Scotland. The cause of the fire remains unknown.
Police have confirmed that there was no criminality following a car fire in Kilmarnock at the weekend. On Saturday, January 4, emergency services were called at around 6pm after a black Tesla was found on fire outside the Beijing Banquet just off Queen’s Drive. Firefighters from the Scottish Fire and Rescue Services responded to the incident and one crew was dispatched to get the fire under control. No injuries were reported following the incident.
Recovery vehicles were spotted at the site yesterday as the clean up from the fire began. In response to an enquiry from Ayrshire Live, Police Scotland have confirmed that there was no criminality involved although the exact cause of the fire is currently unknown
