A Northern Ireland woman has opened up about the support she received after going through surgery to remove a tumour in her brain. Lynda White, Bangor, was diagnosed with a brain tumour on November 20, 2022, and underwent major surgery. This month marks Brain Injury Awareness Month , which provides an opportunity to highlight the resilience and strength shown by individuals and families facing the challenges of a brain injury.

After the surgery, in a time where Lynda and her husband Ken's lives were going through the unknown, they were supported by the Brain Injury Team in the South Eastern Trust.
