Two bottle shops in the Northern Territory have been targeted in a spate of attacks over a nine hour period, some of which included staff members allegedly being threatened with knives and an axe.

NT Police received reports of a spate of incidents at the Cazalys bottle shop and BWS in Palmerston, the satellite city of Darwin, starting from Thursday afternoon.

About 2.40pm on Thursday, a man entered the Cazalys bottleshop on Temple Terrace where he allegedly threatened to slit a staff member's throat and stole a credit card. NT Police confirmed on Friday a 47-year-old man had been charged with three counts of aggravated robbery and possession of a controlled weapon.Cazalys bottle shop in the Northern Territory was targeted in the alleged crime spree on Thursday. In another incident on Thursday at 9.35pm, after the BWS in Palmerston was closed, a man was seen at the bottle-O with a 24cm steak knife and allegedly tried to attack security guards.
